Awesome pic! The tables have surely turned in Japan. I think DS sales will rise again once the DQ games drop, but even still, it's Japans best selling game system ever and its definitely reached saturation. I'm waiting to see what big games are coming to the PSP now - it can't ride the MH3PG wave forever.

All Sony has to do is allow Psp to access the Ps3 remotely over wifi and allow us to play Ps3 games on the Ps3 than it would sell like hotcakes along with the Ps3.

"allow us to play Ps3 games on the Ps3"
If you can't play PS3 games on your PS3, go get a new PS3.

Same here, the only things that matter for me are the games.

You should care. Companies will be more apt to make games if a system is selling well and is popular.
On a side note, I am seeing more and more girls playing PSP on the trains in Tokyo though DS is still the most prevalent.

To be honest, these figures aren't any more crazy than when the DS was selling like 10-cent supermodel sex, and at least the things that sell on it are actual games, not Professor Bimblewits Nipple Training.
Sales of Monster Hunter Freedom 2G, however, are insane.
Developing for the PSP is still a risk though, as the piracy levels are obscene, around 5 to 1 for torrented ISOs versus retail copies I'd reckon.
