Sony has announced a "Summer" release date for the European PSP video download service, Go!View. Nothing more specific than that has been announced. No doubt we'll hear more news nearer the time. Go!View will allow PSP owners to download TV shows, movies and sports courtesy of the British TV provider, Sky.
From the looks of the official website, content will have to be downloaded to your PC then synced across to your PSP. We're hopeful that there will be support for non-Windows operating systems, but if the PC Store is anything to go by then that's probably not very likely. We're looking forward to hearing more about this service and, if you are too, then be sure to sign up for email updates on the official Go!View website.

More to the point when is all the stuff Europe and Asia has had for a year (GoCam, GPS, etc..) gonna show up in the states. It seems we get the opposite situation that the PS3 has; with the PSP EU gets everything before we do.

WHAT?! Through PC? Whats the point then ¬_¬ Might as well keep it on PC. The whole idea of watching vids on PSP is the practicality, download, watch, delete, no attachments, if I have have to go through PC first, that destroys the whole purpose and point of the software, I can do what it does already ¬_¬

I think this might be good! I like the fact that I'll be able to download the latest TV programmes and films onto my PSP (through my PC) which I wouldn't normally be able to do unless I owned the DVDs...
I've signed up, and if it's not too expensive, I'll be getting it.

I don't see what your moaning about! You (in the USA) get newer game releases before us Brits, newer hardware releases, and your moaning about Europe who always gets screwed over by SCE, on getting a video download service first. Look how long we had to wait for the PSP and the PS3 to come out over here. Well that's just my two cents anyway.

Are they ever going to release the GPS here in America or was it all just a joke?
