Star Ocean Second Evolution has been out in Japan for over a week now and still the gameplay footage keeps rolling in. This latest video showcases the game's battle system which is obviously very similar to the original game, but with much prettier graphics. I guess, but the article does say

New graphics look better to me, especially the environments.

It looks very sad in my opinion. I don't like the battle system in "Tales of" games and the animations & graphics are so poor, especially when you're playing Crisis Core right now.
The hero seems to be again a 16 year old boy who is going to save the world.
The AI in combat looks bland, they do not fight back or do anything.

dont really like the graphics but the battle system to be be enjoyable also i love how they put detail intoo the background but i really hate the spirits...

I cannot wait to get this game (if it comes to the US) I will buy them both! If all else fails I will have to go back to Ebay and purchase the PSOne version of 2nd Story. These games are incredible!
