If you're in need of extra gigs for your PSP, but looking to save a pretty penny or two, perhaps you'll want to hear about this adapter. The PhotoFast CR-3500 microSDHC to Pro Duo adapter will allow microSDs and microSDHCs (high capacity) to work with both PSP-1000 and PSP-2000 models. The adapter supports microSDHCs up to eight gigs large.
Now how is this going to save you a few bucks? Well, for the exact same amount of storage capacity, microSDHCs offer a cheaper solution to Pro Duos -- even if you factor in the price of the adapter. But hang on right there. There's no price yet on the adapter. However, a little rummaging finds the adapter listed on Amazon Japan for ¥990. That's roughly US$9.70. If that estimate holds true for North American consumers, then there's a lot of savings to be had.

Micro SD is generally slower than Sony mem stick pro duo. This is not a problem for most applications (like taking photos) but it can be a problem for loading/playing games.
Some of the newer micro sd cards are class 6 which makes them faster than sony mem stick pro duo so these should be perfect for games.
The only drawback is that the adapter and MicroSD card do not support magicgate (which is Sony's DRM scheme) This can be both good and bad... bad because you will not be able to use it on some of Sony's music players.
For Sony Digicams this adpater works perfectly, for the PSP it works ok... but for Sony music players you may be dissapointed.

or those of us in the US, we couldn't get the PEAK Hardware microSDHC to MS Duo Pro adapters before (without ordering from overseas). We can now and they work great in the PSP. I got a bunch for friends and have some extra. The link with specs is here:
http://www.peakhardware.com/products/pr … p?PAID=363
It will let you use microSDHC with your PSP and the rest of your microSDHC devices plus it costs half as much as MS Duo Pro memory does.
These adapters come with 4GB microSDHC. I'm selling them for $35 a piece, plus postage. I will mail them anywhere in the US and Canada. Email me at [email protected].

I have one of these and it runs God of War (backup) fine, with cheap $10 A-data 2gb micro sd card but I have only got non-HC cards to work. I've only tried one HC card though, a Kingston 4gb micro sdhc.
