The screens keep coming in for Atlus' upcoming
R-Type Command. As one of the only games to come out on PSP for the next few months (seriously), we've resigned ourselves to pay close attention to the game. Thankfully, what we've played hasn't looked too shabby -- if we did, we really wouldn't have anything else to play in the coming months.

Only if you're an emo kid that thinks the scene is dead, that is.

That depends. If your expecting a typical R-Type game, then yes. If your looking for a tactical space warfare game based on a popular space shooter, then I doubt you would be disappointed. Frankly I'm happy to see Atlus taking this approach with R-Type and expanding the universe.
I was not disappointed with the Demo, and full games are always better than demos are, IMO.

Full games are better then demos? Look at GoW. lol!
You make it sound like they were creative, they tried hard, and they put appealing graphics into it.

Wow you aren't kidding... It looks like we get this, Lego Indy, and N+ all summer.
Time to get caught up on the back catalog I guess.

Whats up with the hype around this game here? It's just the pimped out version of the old classic..

It's not. It's a strategy game now.

Heh, I only just got my PSP last week and have plenty of games to play until I'll find myself starved for new stuff ... right now, I'm thoroughly enjoying Patapon and Puzzle Quest, but even after those I'm certain I won't be bored for weeks to come :)
