cool if its true. definitely a way for them to get millions of more dollars in their fat wealthy pockets. it wouldn't be surprising if a remake actually is made in the near future. w/e

I truly hope they release a Final Fantasy VII remake. And with luck they will add a "hard mode" like they did with FF7:CC. I would surly pay for it.

FFVII for PSP. No more, no less. CC-FFVII- would be the graphical basis, and might allow for extra unlockable content in FFVII if the latter detects a save file(s). Ad-hoc, perhaps wi-fi, Chocobo Racing is a requirement, along with perhaps the entire Golden Saucer being ad-hoc co-op. This, of course, would lead to similar-level remakes of FFVIII and FFIX (which would retain the graphical style, lest fans of it get pissed; we're already getting proportionate Zidane in DFF), with ad-hoc Triple Triad and ad-hoc/wi-fi Tetra Master, with the online play tying in to the PlayOnline version.
PS3? Leave that to new FFs. The pre-PS2 FFs are goin' handheld, and I do not want to be stuck at my TV to play an enhanced FFVII (or a ported/spruced FFVII, should it appear in the Store).

Because unless you played as the bad guy you would not be able to "beat" the game?
