GDC08: Phase was originally a PSP game
You know how much we enjoy beats, the downloadable music game. But, iPod has something similar from Harmonix: Phase. That title was originally created for PSP as well. It was meant to be an "urban journey" and only used the shoulder buttons for control. We'd love to see a PSP version come to fruition as well, but for now, we'll keep on playing to our beats.

A PSP version would have been awesome. I have Phase for the iPod nano and that freaking click wheel is so hard to maneuver. (I only have it because the iPod was a Christmas present. Being the Sony fan I am, I would have preferred a Walkman. lol) I love Harmonix, but because of that unreliable click wheel, I have much preferred Beats.

Despite the fact that I already own both Beats and Phase, I'd still probably buy Phase again if they released it on the PSP....

Wow I hope Harmonix will still bring this game out on the PSP. I really have a fun time on my Ipod Video and think this would also be great on the PSP. Plus it would be great to see more games like Beats on the PS Store. So I for one would love to buy this game for the PSP too.

Yeah, I am a fan of Phase on my iPod. Wouldn't really be interested in a PSP version, though. Mostly because, 1) I already own it and 2) I just can't imagine it handling as well... the iPod's controls are pretty much perfect.

I have both phase and Beats as I love music games.
And it's quite easy for me to say that Beats>Phase..
According to my iPod I've played Phase 8 times.
I got it on release.
I play Beats every day.

I've been thinking about buying phase after reading some of the details on Joystiq about how it works. It sounded like phase might be better than Beats at turning the music into a game. Any opinions?
