Do you really need to use a Bluetooth headset on your PSP? Well, a complicated hack created by N3M3515 (aka Shane-O-Max) will let you do exactly that. The instructables page will give you every step needed for such a complicated surgery. Yes, we're impressed by the hacker's clever ingenuity. However, the final product makes us question if its even worth it ...

It's one of those hacks on the PSP that really doesn't suit everyone, but just done to prove that it can be used/happen.

Hey, whatever floats your boat. Neat that it can be done, severely impractical, but neat!

I don't get it.
I have a Philips VOX 340 bluetooth set (i.e. dongle & separate earphones) and it works fine with the PSP & my iPod for that matter. Plug the dongle in, put earphones in, switch on both, and away you go. Takes up not much more space than the earphones & remote that you get with the PSP, and a lot less than all that stuff in the photo.
Am I missing something else that these guys are doing?

Ahh! They mention in the article on the original site that it was for use with Skype. I can also use my Motorola S9 headphones with the smae Philips dongle... I wonder if that would work with Skype/PSP.
