Be warned, Wipeout Pulse can, and will, get dangerously fast. The speeds of Phantom and Zone are mind-shattering (could this iteration outdo every previous game in the series?). However, to really understand how exhilaratingly fast the game moves, one has to play in first person. Only then, will you really feel like you'll lose your lunch. Catch more videos, after the cut.

I'll stick to third person - or vehicle :)

I want in-vehicle view. It's just the best one for me - a little dashboard, a little windshield - ahhh - that's the way to play driving, er hovering, er, racing games.

I threw up three times while watching that. :)
Lolz, nah, I like watching that. Roller-coaster like.

I can only play racing games (including Wipeout) in the cockpit view. This looks sweeeeeeeeeeeet.

When I first saw this, I thought it was a negative remark when you said "loose your lunch". Turns out, it was for a good reason, Lol.

I dont know about you guys, but I caught myself leaning to the left and right while i watched this video. go figure. Yeah, i figure that if this was a real race, I know for sure that i would NOT compete, i get car sick alone, and going this fast i dont even think i'd get time to blow chunks, my intestines would be stickin out of my head anywayz. lol

That's not even Rapier speed. Wip£out Pulse gets a LOT faster than that.

Ooooh me wants!

I play ALL racing games from in-car or cockpit view if possible. There's more of a direct relation from movement on the controller and on screen. Outside views just don't follow the controller's movements well enough.
It looks fine to me!
I wonder if the people that have a hard time playing racing games from the inside view have a hard time driving in real life...
