This is the cheapest 4GB Memory Stick we've ever seen. The SanDisk 4GB Stick is an unadvertised special that's only available at brick and mortar Circuit City stores (no online shopping, sorry!). Item #SDK SDMSG4096A50 is what you'll be looking for. MXPowar from CAG gives some shopping advice for this rather lucrative deal: "In case, you are afraid of this being out of stock when you get there, I just tried this and it works, Buy it here, then choose in-store pickup and your credit card will be refunded about ~$41. A CC representative just called me about this so it is confirmed."
Good luck, shoppers.
Update: Unfortunately, it looks like the deal is dead. Guess it was a glitch that was corrected -- maybe we publicized this deal too much?

I just called a circuit city near me (Northridge). I gave the lady the item number and she told me the price on it was $60. It doesn't add up.

How long is this deal lasting? I won't be able to get to a Circuit City until this weekend.

According to the guys at CAG, it was a glitch. Instead of the 1 gig being for $20, the 4 gig was put for $20. But now they have the glitch fixed. Wish I would have seen this earlier on CAG.

Wow, these memory sticks are getting very cheap. Hopefully sony will use them for games instead of UMD for the psp2. Much faster load times and twice the capacity of a UMD (4GB). Who knows, 8GB memory stick pro duo might cost less enough for sony to use it by the time psp2 comes out. (They don't necessarily have to use normal memory stick, they could use a proprietary format that uses the same technology as memory stick)

As soon as I heard about this news, I got on my telephone to talk to someone about this to make sure. My location's hours say they close at 10... but I called at 8:30 and I got the automated "We're closed" message. I called back five more times and got the same message.
Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter if it was only a little glitch that was quickly fixed.

alright, i work at a Circuit City in Colorado. This and other unadvertised prices are only available is select stores. Most likely either one or more of the stores in the area of the Person who posted this. Just to check, i called my work and they said that it is currently $59.99 retail. So this sale price is only available in and around the store it was purchased at. IT WAS THE STORE'S SALE, NOT THE COMPANIES!
