A closer look at Japan's awesome Castlevania package
Japan continues to get the primo packaging for its games. The Dracula X Chronicles comes with a fancy art book, keychain, PSP pouch and more in the deluxe Japanese release. PSP GadgetZ was able to get their hands on the incredible package and they have a ton of pics right here. It may be pricey at $100, but the hardcore Castlevania fans may want to lay down some cash.

:\ And yet again, the rest of the world gets shafted on "goodies" like this.
Sad part is, I'd *gladly* pay the extra for it if deals like this were done domestically.

I gladly would have paid $40 for Drac X Chronicles if they went for 60 fps and didn't substitute awful sound into the SotN port. Sure, I'm nitpicking, but framerate is important in a side scroller.

Gee.... as much as I love my sony and hate xbox... maybe if Sony started shipping some of those nice goodies over here... more people would be interested in Sony products. Seems like they forget about the rest of the world. :-/

I agree - extras are nice, but Castlevania is just yet another port that fails to live up to the original ... like FFT and Disgaea.

Well technically it's not a port, but a remake (The main game at least).

"...if they went for 60 fps"
Are you kidding me?
60 fps is the at the top-end and relatively new. For you to expect that with everything is just ridiculous. Did you know TV shows and movies are only 24 fps? So do you boycott all movies too? And CRT Televisions bought just a few years ago can only display up to 30 fps. For a side-scroller to even have a noticeable difference between say 30 fps and 60 fps it would have to have very fast action, and then you'd see a lot more ghosting anyways. So even if 60 fps was noticeable on the PSP, it would be unplayable.
