It's time to get up to speed with the blue blur that is Sonic the Hedgehog. Besides the fact that's a very strange animal to choose as a mascot, the other characters don't exactly get such identifying monikers. Oh well. We've got quite a few videos for you to check out in addition to the one above, so take the plunge and watch the others after the jump.

Tails needs to learn how to start a race, because this is just silly. At least the game seems to try to keep itself in a more two dimensional play-zone, right?

Fist fight! We're tired of emotionless voice-acting. That aside, well, Sonic's always about running. and jumping on Dr. Robotnik's head. Well, on the Genesis.

Oh no! Tales knows that Espio is following her! So what does he do? Walk up and talk to her, of course. Wait, Tails is a girl, right?

Ugh, my ears, and eyes! Holding d-pad right is apparently Sonic's thing now. I remember having to stop and platform a bit on the genesis/segacd. Another Sonic borefest. Poor little guy. Piggybacking on Super Smash Bros. Brawl will probably be Sonic's best appearance since 1994 when Sonic and Knuckles was released. (some may argue sonic adventure/sonic rush, I didn't care for either)

The only "mistakes" i consider out of the series are Sonic 3D Blast, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2006

I disagree Brello. Sonic Adventures 1 & 2 on Dreamcast were amazing games. Other than that I agree. Sonic isn't really targeted towards the people it used to be targeted to. It always seemed to be the anti-Mario. With a different style, play speed, and story. Once Sega stopped making consoles that all went away.
