After reading Andrew gush over SOCOM: Tactical Strike like a schoolgirl with her first crush, it's hard not to be intrigued at Sony's upcoming tactical shooter. To add to that excitement are these new gameplay videos, which, not only feature the game's impressive squad-based gameplay, but also its multi-language voice acting for our international friends out there. Pretty cool stuff.

I'm really not sure if I'd like this game or not...but for some reason I still want to give it a try. Here's hoping for a demo!

I just can say that the first SOCOM for PSP was AWESOME with the headset (if it worked, there were a few issues with sound quality) and made a hell lot of fun. I guess this one will be even far better.

There is a demo. UMD-only, if you pre-order from Gamestop. It's FUN. Better than Full Spectrum Warrior, as far as I'm concerned.
Just pre-order ($5), try the demo, and if you don't like it, just put the $5 toward something else. You're not obliged to buy the game just because you pre-order.
