Wait, is Hot Shots Golf supposed to look this good?

Is Hot Shots Golf supposed to look this good? New screenshots from the upcoming PSP sequel show off some truly stunning environments. These are a remarkable improvement over the first game on PSP, and shows how far developers have come in squeezing some truly impressive PS2-quality graphics out of the machine. The gameplay of the Hot Shots Golf series has always been reliably good. But now, we can safely say it's a pretty big visual powerhouse on our system as well.

Umm, did you guys even see the Dino Park courses in the original? They looked as good as this. Yeah, the character models aren't that detailed, and the courses had imaginary borders that would cut off, but the actual environmental details were really solid.

I played the original Hot Shots Golf more than any other game when the PSP first came out! As a matter of fact, now that we're mentioning the game...I'm kinda MISSING IT! Might be time to get a few rounds in.

Looks pretty sweet. Hope the US release isn't too far away from the December Japanese version... I really miss some good ol' big-headed golf.

Sorry for the double-post but, I couldn't help to notice on the source page... some dating sim elements? Seems like the girl from HSG1 is sitting on a park, and the player gives her a present, or something.

I could use some more great titles, PSP doesn't exactly have the most stellar lineup. Here's hoping that changes soon!

Yeah...52 titles scoring 80 or better really limits your choices:

BTW

DS = 44 over 80

I know man, it bugs the hell out of me when ignorant jerkwads try claiming PSP has no good games when it has a better library than the DS. Same for PS3 versus Wii.
