This overly-produced trailer from Square Enix highlights the upcoming English-dubbed cutscenes of Final Fantasy Tactics. Unlike the Japanese original, voice acting adds a lot of depth to the storytelling. But, that's not the only improvement they've made to the US version. A better framerate makes the US version the clearly better choice for FF fans. Who wants to bet that Japan receives yet another "Internation Version" re-release of this game?

hey, I'm new here.
I'm buying a PSP2k for this game on October 9. pretty simple really. I've been waiting for the right moment to get a PSP since it was announced in 2004 and with a new version of the system and some sweet games out now and coming, It couldn't be a better time to get one. I did play the original FFT, so it won't be my first time, but I'd pay way more than some $200 to experience the game with a well written script. The cutscenes with VO are icing on a sweet, sweet cake.

Oh wow, that intro music just took me back to 1998 when I first played the game on my PS1. I cannot wait for this. Now to finish up Jeanne D'arc...

Am I the only one who thinks that the narrator voice was totally unnecesary on the game's opening? It kinda blows up the atmosphere given by the music.
VO for characters would be great tho.

I want my Ramza!!!!
I was ready to just the PS1 version emulated on my PSP but this is in widescreen with new cutscenes so its worth waiting for.
Last time I played through this whole game, I was young and sucked at it and had to use a gameshark to beat it. Hopefully I can finish it legitimately this time.
