So what would homebrew people make with this motion sensor? After a lengthy brainstorming section (waiting for coffee to drip), we decided the coolest use of the motion sensor would be a game where you play the leader in a majorette band and you have to throw the PSP into the air, making sure to twirl it a certain number of times before you catch it. If you miss catching it, you lose. For real. That would be a hardcore game, but like with a lot of motion sensing things, you might as well just go outside and do something.

you could do some serious Bass Master Fishing Freedom with this thing. I mean really...the market for good 'ole Fishing Games just skyrocketed and probably boosted sales for the psp by 75%.

Yeah LocoRoco with this would be perfect! Also maybe some driving games? Or maybe even Ace Combat??
The possibilities are endless.

Games like LocoRoco and Mercury should have had PS3 versions by now. (Cocoreccho doesn't count.) Those games especially, I think, would have made great use of the SIXAXIS. I'm surprised that a motion sensor is coming out for the PSP faster than an announcement for such games for the PS3.

Well, most homebrewers were floating around ideas like the LocoRoco(mentioned above), remapping games to use the motion sensor as a replacement for the d-pad or analog nub, and remapping PS games to use this motion sensor as the second analog stick.
I imagine some PSP games(particularly FPS) would want to use this as a second analog stick as well.

Uhh... think about it. Tilting left & right on a PSP would be great (like for Loco Roco)
But tilting in 4 directions on a PSP? Trying to view the screen would be so annoying.

Huh, I thought they meant it senses motion external to the PSP, like having the camera come on when somebody passes.
