Quick question on the description... how can a 2D wallpaper be shown in 1080p or 1080i? Shouldn't it simply be 1920x1080?

Uh.. 2d and 3d has nothing to do with 1080p/1080i -- those are resolutions. I beleive 1080p is full 1920x1080 resolution whereas 1080i is same but "interlaced". 1080p is the best for tv's now-- which is what the PS3 and new flat screen tv's use now but for computers it is not that impresseive. Most people set their computers to 1280x1024 or 1600x1200 which is better than 1080p!
