Wait. This game came out?
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 silently released to PSP systems, with no advertising and no coverage. Perhaps Ubisoft was too afraid to send review copies? (As of writing, there are no published online reviews of the game.)
Without the help of critics, we can only look to you, our readers, for sage advice on this game. PSP GadgetZ has once again captured some of the first footage of the game. Does it still look like a N64 game to you?

Much better than Rainbow six, which was very disappointing. It's been fun. Not quite all I would want, but the PSP isn't a 360 or PS3, so I can deal with some missing features.

I have to give it credit for moving at a relatively nice frame-rate, though I didn't watch the whole video. That would definitely make or break a shooter for me.
I probably won't be buying it though.

This is a really good game. It moves at a very smooth framerate, controls work well. Sure it's not the same as the 360 but it'sa damn good game on it's own merits.
I like this game every bit as much as MOHH and COD, better than SoCom IMO. If I did have a complaint it would that there could have been more open areas to explore.

I wasn't to impressed with it. The AI, as I saw it, was dumber than rocks, and the map design overall was fairly bland and single-theme (i.e., forest level, city level, etc.). Mission structure, built mostly around the "go here, kill this/blow up this" ethos, could've been much better. GRAW 2 is also the latest in a series of titles that scream for infrastructure multiplayer, but which the developer, for some reason or another, chooses not to implement. Not a terrible game, but not something I'd recommend buying at full price.

Don't go by the video on how it looks. It looks very good, framerate as well as quality. Being able to control a drone (and switch to its view), be able to lase a target, and call in artillary shots are all very cool.
I really like how they give multiple ways to take out targets (dropping bombs from drones is very cool) as well as multiple paths you can take. The AI is a little weak (stupid), but not so much to ruin it. They will take cover, etc when shot at.
Visually, looks better than SOCOM. Even though you have escort missions and work with others, you still fly solo with no tactical team control.
Again, those who bought Rainbow six and were disappointed (basically everyone who bought it), will find this a great step up.
Don't know why this one was released without previews and press. Rainbow was such a bust, but this one is definitely worth the playtime.
Hope to convince someone to buy/rent it so I can try out the co-op stuff.

I was pretty skeptical about how well this would port but I have to admit that looks pretty decent. I might pick it up.

it looks alright... but seems a bit of solo game to me . I've got the PC version and I think thats much better with the teamwork involved.
