While we haven't had a chance to play, there are eager PSP gamers out there that have. PSP GadgetZ has taken the time to record some footage of the game, load times and all. Watching this is the closest thing we have to playing the game. How does it look to you? Do any of our readers own a copy? Let us know.

Looks like their more ashamed than confident, that game looks like crap first of all where the hell are all the textures, second, where the hell is vegas? Moreover the enemy AI looks like its borderline retarded not to mention how easy it is to take them out. Controls look downright awkward from the looks of it far too stiff and difficult to move if you ever get in an intense firefight, but who knows that may never happen anyway in this game.

If you've played SFDM and SOCOM, then there's nothing new here. Controls mimic SFDM, which I feel is the best FPS layout for the PSP. As far as the gameplay, I like it, but was expecting a little more. Most people griping about the game probably expected it to be too much like the 360 version. There are no casino levels. They're all pretty bland office/building levels. The AI is pretty unintelligent, but the levels are tough on the harder difficulties.
The online is ok, but again, if you've played the other two games, then you've pretty much experienced what you get from this game.
Overall, I like it, but it could have been so much more. Instead, it's just more of what we already have.

I think it looks pretty damn good, I hope the controls are closer to Medal of Honor Heroes, that I feel had the best FPS layout. As far as the first post, WTF? it looks as good if not better than most of the FPS offerings I have seen on the PSP. I do hope the AI is better than it was in the first Socomm which was next to retarded, it sure looks better. I look forward to this game.

I've only clocked maybe 20 min so far. First impression? SOCOM 1 was more fun; Metal Gear Solid Portable ops looked way better (but I gave up on it because I found controls unworkable when paired with no ability to save anywhere I want and difficulty).

i have a copy of this game i love it, the only problem i have with it is that sometimes when i am killing an enemy there is a 1-2 second slow down. dont know why. other then that its a real good game. good online too.

so far, I am still playing the first level, may be I cannot give a justify comment on it, but i think it's very crappy so far. The graphic look like what we have on PC Counter Strike, last few generations graphic, the AI are stupid; they mostly just stand and shoot, no challenge. The control is fine since it is the best we hv for PSP. Well, I will keep playing that game, hope it will be better as the stage go on.
However, one good thing about this game is this is a straight forward and simple game (so far), not as stressful as Metal Gear Solid and Killzone:S

The whole thing lacks polish, starting from the texture work down to the user interface and load screens. To be brief, it looks more like a homebrew effort than an actual retail release.
They should have canned the game.

I got rainbow six today and DAMN IT ROCKS! the load time are a JOKE! super fast! the control are the same has Medal of Honor Heroes. The graphic a nice, there is some little weird thing going on, when you play, at some random time it seems that the game try to load from the UMD and the game FREEZE for 50ms and then come back to life. I mean I was shooting someone in the head and it frose and cam back REally weird. I like this game A LOT! I made the first missing and will continue after Americain Chopper :P

I finished it on Wednesday, the same day I got it. There are no casino levels, ala the 360 version. In fact there are only 5 actual levels with each one split out into a few missions.
But don't get me wrong, if you liked SFDM or the SOCOM series, this is right on par with them. I guess after playing the 360 version, I saw more potential for a companion game and was a little disappointed that is was just essentially what SFDM and SOCOM already delivered.

GOODNESS..save your money...this is terrible....I agree...If you havn't already buy SOCOM FTB 2 or SFDM, this is shocking how bad it is compared to Clancy's normal quality of game play. I'm going to have to return mine..it's that bad.
