After countless months of
waiting, the promised
Killzone: Liberation patch is finally available for download. The patch includes an extension of the single-player campaign (Chapter 5), and new multiplayer options -- such as the hotly anticipated Infrastructure mode, which allows players to compete against other PSP players around the globe.
The download is available through the game's in-game menu and can also be found at the newly revamped
killzone.com website.
[Thanks, Lucas]

This is damn nice to finally see, though I wonder how much less of an impact it's going to have since the game is over 6 months old now. I know I'll be playing the 5th chapter tonight (or whenever I get the chance), and I'll probably give the online a shot again too, as it was pretty fun in the beta. No online co-op still makes me sad though.

It just seems so, 'cause we got so spoiled from Enix party and Sony Day
this update will do nothing for me, I'm still about 20 minutes into this game. it's a good game, I'm just not too interested in this genre.

I have this game and never really got into it. I played for like 10 min and never played it again. I guess I'll give it a go again and download the new content.

Included is headset communcation so if you've got the official headset/camera (or third-party equivalent) then you can use your voice rather than the on-screen keyboard.
To enable, simply goto the Options menu, then select Communcation and choose Headset. To chat, hold down the DOWN button while talking, and an icon will appear on-screen to show who's voice is heard (similar to SOCOM).

you have to create a new account for infrastructure play, in other words your site and infra profile have nothing to do with each other...yet..
