Q: Does Andrew hand-select his emails for Ask PSP Fanboy?
A: Yes. Some questions simply can't be answered, while others aren't worth answering at all.
Q: How many people have installed custom firmware on their PSP systems?
A: This is probably an impossible question to answer. There's no way of tracking all the PSP systems out there, nor is there a fair way of evaluating it. If we polled the PSP Fanboy community, it will be more likely that we'll have users of custom firmware -- but will a casual player even know about homebrew? Most likely not. The one thing we can say, however, is that custom firmware is becoming increasingly popular. A look at dark-alex.org's alexa stats reveals the incredible growing demand for custom firmware.
Q: What converter are you using to convert the PSP videos for PSP Fanboy Theatre?
A: Seriously, we get asked this question about every other week. Check Volume 14 for the answer. For those that use PSP Video 9, we highly recommend you use the latest beta version for full resolution videos.

Q: What can be done to scratches on the PSP screen?
A: Even the most careful players will most likely have minor scratches on their screens. While I haven't been bothered by scratches, the folks at PSP411 seem to recommend the Plexus Plastic Cleaner: simply spray and wipe off. We haven't tried it ourselves, but if it works as advertised, the minor nicks left on the screen should be gone.

Thanks for this site.
Maybe you should put the "See also: Check out previous editions of Ask PSP Fanboy." at the top before you put your email address out. Or make a special Ask PSP Fanboy roundup post as a FAQ and point to that?
BTW, aren't there screen films available to cover the screen?

to answer the question. I would estimate custom firmware usage to be at the ratio of IE vs Firefox. Simply because tech/game/PC savvy people will use firefox, while everybody else will just stick with what comes with the console/PC.
which is about 70% original to 30% Custom firmware. Although the 15-24 age group probably has very high ratio, while the other groups have very little.
