Who would've thought that a licensed anime game could ever look so enticing? Ruliweb got some hands-on time with the newly released Japanese import, and it looks absolutely fantastic. The battles look like a blast (pun intended), with some miraculous mech action on display. The game has all the production values from the original anime, from TM Revolution's intro to Souichiro Hoshi's grating adolescent voice. Gundam fans will have a tear come to their eye when they see Victory flash on the screen, with See-Saw's ending playing in the background. Is this not some truly spectacular fan service?
Check after the cut to see more screens of the game. For more details, check out our previous coverage.

Oh man that was a sweet trailer. Game play looks to be really fun; however, doesn't look very import friendly. I don't know though might have to still pick it up.

I've played a little of this, my Japaneses is as poor as the next guy here, but it's no harder than any other fighting game. One button is for your lighter gun, one is for your heavier guy, one is for sword fighting. another one is for switching the focus on another enemy. the shoulder button is for jumping and flying
the battle system is quite intuitive and very addictive. I haven't tried anything but the arcade battle mode. but I hope there's a career mode of somekind that leads you to play the anime story.

This guy playing is kinda crap he does not even use the charge shot, u can hold down square and the targets appear like on the anime ;)... also while charging u can do advanced melee etc ive got this game its excellent i recommend to any gundam fan with a psp XP if u dont have a psp buy the ps2 version ! btw the lack of video quality dumbs down the graphics :/

omg this game looks sweet, any chance of seeing a U.S release? I loved Gundam Seed, it'd be a dream to see this on a friendly language... ;)
