Play-Asia is having their Crazy Week sale, which truly lives up to its namesake. The store is slashing prices 20% for every in-stock item not released in the past 30 days. That includes hardware, which means the import Champagne Gold PSP is only $160: that's cheaper than buying a boring black Core system in America!
But that's not the only deal in the store. You may be interested in picking up the original DJ Max Portable, the GPS receiver, Pink PSP, Silver PSP, or the PaRappa pouch. Happen to find other noteworthy deals? Tell us!

Anyone tried the GPS device in the US? The reviews at Play-Asia indicate that it works on the more recent OE custom firmwares.

I've been wanting a Pink PSP for forever, but before I buy, what are the downfalls? I know ALL games will play, but none of the US movies, due to region encoding.
The biggest problem is firmware--will the Japanese Pink PSP be upgradeable, or will I eventually get "stuck" with a unit that won't play the newest games?

Holy shit, that makes me want to buy another PSP. Can someone please follow up on PocketGoddess' question? Could I just put dark alex's firmware on here? I wouldn't mind having a PSP strictly for emulation...
