While surfing (not literally) the web I saw one PSP related article in Gamespot's GDC section. It was about LocoRoco 2 and I knew I had to check it out. The article ended up being about Sony's trophy system for the PS3 Home concept. I had to scan the article a bit to find anything about LocoRoco 2, but here's what was said "The awards shown off by Harrison included statuettes for the PlayStation Store games LocoRoco 2 and Super Rub-a-Dub, as well as a Hellghast villain from the forthcoming PS3 Killzone preserved like a heavily armored pheasant under glass."
To me the inclusion of LocoRoco 2 in the PS3 Home trophy room means one or more of three possible things to me:
- LocoRoco 2 is in fact coming to PS3
- LocoRoco 2 is coming to both PSP & PS3
- The trophy system is being extended to not just PS3, but also PSP
I personally think regardless of whether LocoRoco 2 is coming to PS3, there will be something LocoRoco related in PSP's future. I also believe that if Sony has the kind of success with Home that I think they will, they'll extend at least parts of that experience to PSP. Does anyone else agree with me, or am I a mad man?
PS- I can be both a mad man and you can agree with me if you choose.

Nice find. I do agree with you that LocoRoco 2 is going to come to both PS3 and PSP and there also may be PSP Trophies but the Home program coming to the PS3 is a long shot.

I for one am starting to fear about the future of Sony and its support to the PSP. Not only we, PSP users, were left behind during the GDC, but also Sony seems to be putting all their efforts on pumping their PS3. I'm afraid Sony in the end will drop the ball, allowing the PSP to become just a gimmick for the PS3.
The PSP, despite its constant sales, needs more support, and even though that support must come from third party developers, it's Sony the main pusher to get those developers to create more quality content for the portable.
Really, Sony, don't forget about your PSP fanbase.

It's possible that Home may in the future use the PSP through Remote Play. It would certainly go a long way in PS3-PSP interconnectivity.

Strangler is the sort of dolt that thinks the Macintosh OS is a failure because of how many more people use Microsoft Windows. Betwixed and between posts here Strangler is the daft looser chanting "Apple is dying!"

So long as it perpetuates the franchise I really don't care *where* they put the next one - I don't care about *exclusive* games, just *GOOD* ones!
And on the Strangler watch, I think he needs to unbutton his shirt, he's strangling himself and cutting off the oxygen supply (I was old enough in the early 80's that I can never juxtapose Air and Supply) to his brain.

this guy knows what hes talking about:
http://boards2.sega.com/sega_board/viewtopic.php?t=68737&start=45
"Can you give me 10 games over and above Lumines and LocoRoco that is any good that I can't get on the PS2? (Which Lumines is coming to PS2 anyway, but I'll give that to the PSP as it started life there) Daxter, is alright, but not the best in the world... that's for sure.
Also, I have played nearly on each and every console and handheld out there and unfortunately the PSP is on of the weakest systems I have ever played on. Not power, rather software library. Most of the PSP games I enjoy on the PS2... so why invest?
Check here: http://www.rebound.co.za and see what myself and 3 other mates do in South Africa free of charge for the gaming community, which is more than I can say of you (or do you have something beneficial to the gaming community you can show me?)
I'm not trying to brag, but just proving a point. I own many different consoles and judge them all individually. The PSP should have been much more. I'm sure the follow up to the PSP will be better, but right now, I do not like it. Our tournaments ended up a flop with the PSP and a hit with the DS because of a simple thing like "Gamesharing". Pitty. I do not have a problem with Sony, rather the PSP itself."

You're psplover on those boards? You flame the psp here and praise it on those other boards? You are very disturbed, Strangler. It's quite apparent that you have some kind of mental disorder. Please leave mother's basement now and make some friends =(
And that rebound stuff is scrub shit. I organized fighting game tournaments and used to take part in Evo (http://www.evo2k.com/). That does not give you a free pass to troll on any forum just trying to get attention. You're a flea.
