The fine folks of Acid Mods have done it again: they've created yet another impressive modification for the PSP. But this one will make you spin your head a bit. It's a cooling fan. Yes, a cooling fan.
While it's true that the system may get a little bit warm when connected via wi-fi, the portable doesn't seem to suffer from overheating issues like its console cousins. However, if you need to play your PSP on a hot summer day, you may want to check this out. Regardless of its practicality, it's certainly an ingenious piece of work.

No real practical use but interesting none the less. What I'd like to see is a proof of concept internal hard drive. I've been thinking of it all week but don't have the time, money, or resources. Plus I think a video iPod hard drive is just a bit too long to fit inside the case. A microdrive would fit in the UMD bay, maybe even two, but they are too pricey/gig to bother.

Seems pretty useless, yea I'm going to attach something to my PSP so it can suck dust and whatnot into my UMD drive. I'm sure that will prolong the life of the thing. Same thing with that battery pack they made, yea I could go to all the trouble of making one or I could just buy one at Best Buy for $5.

If heat was not a problem in electronics how do you explain whole markets that have evolved from cooling them? And why would you want to buy one at B**t B*y if its useless? When the stock battery builds up memory would you rather land-fill it?
