We've been reviewing the PSP playable PS1 games that have been released thus far, but are they what we really want? We listed what we'd like to see from the PS1 library last month, but Modojo has their own list now. The list includes the predictable like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, but it also includes more cult games like Klonoa: Door to Phantomile (the ending of which made me cry).To see the rest of the list you'll have to go read the article. After you've done that though, come back here and let us know what games that you'd like to see make the leap from PS1 to PSP.

Chrono Cross! Final Fantasy Tactics! Final Fantasy VII (I've heard through the homebrew community, though, that this game doesn't work right in the PSP/PSX Emulator, so that might be why we haven't seen it yet)! Soul Blade! Tony Hawk's Pro Skater! Anything by Capcom!

I have a PSP with custom firmware 3.03 which allows 1.5 homebrew. I can play emulators (NES, SNES, Genesis, TurboGrafx 16, etc), All PSP games that require a high firmware installed, all the features of 3.03, and I can my own PS1 games.
That's right. Right now, I have a 2GB Highspeed Memory Stick Pro Duo, with Metal Gear Solid Disc 1, Parasite Eve Disc 1, and Tekken 3 on my PSP. I also have Jedi Power Battles.
A Hacked PSP is a beautiful thing. I think I'm going to get Vagrant Story, Chrono Cross, and try out Final Fantasy 7 and 8 when I get the chance. I suggest you all go to pspupdates.com and get with the program!

Thats what I'm talking about Inspired, Dark Alex is a god 3.03OEa the best thing since sliced bread, I am currently playin Vagrant Story disc 1 Xeno gears disc 1, and Lunar 2 disc 1, plus all my GBA games and original snes nes , etc. There is nothing better, people need to get witht he program.

While MGS does bring back a bit of nostalgic memories - I find both games to be just terrible. I guess I got spoiled by years of high-resolution PC games and most recently - by awesome looking PSP games like Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, Star Wars Lethal Alliance, Killzone Liberation, SOCOM 1 & 2 or even Virtua Tenis. I don't think I will be going back to ANY PS1 games. There are just too many good PSP games... Though I will check out some of the 'top picks.' Who knows - perhaps there are some gems to be discovered...

hey inspired, i have the same firmware but for some reason all the emulators i have aside from my n64 and snes emulators show as corrupted data, its really just my gpsp that runs on 1.50, i even tryed setting it so that the kernal mode was 1.50.. nothing, if u could help that would be great my email is [email protected] on topic with the list.. hmm, im gonna say
