Ruriweb has discovered some supernaturally beautiful screenshots of the PSP version of Rainbow Six. Certainly, the game doesn't match the visual intensity of its Xbox 360 brethren, but it does a fine job visually nonetheless. Everything seems a bit too stellar: the character models, the lighting and the textures. Hopefully, such beauty doesn't come at the expense of framerate or loading times. We'll certainly find out more info before the game sneaks into store shelves in October. Until then, check out more pics after the cut.

This doesn't look that much better than other PSP games like Syphon Filter and Tekken. Probably people are just too used to DS graphics.

This game looks good and if they put time into it, it could be really good. I'm just shocked that we haven't seen much of this game and it comes out next month, that's fast.

The shot looks hot, man! Recently, I even got to give Bounty Hounds a try, and I am telling you that the visuals on some of these titles are really hitting a new apex.
I am reminded of Miami Vice for a brief moment, when I look at these shots of Rainbow Six. However, I do hope, that this game will hopelly become one of those few that set standards for the PSP.
Would be a radical feat, if it would sport an infrastructure-mode.

Not much better? You can't see the silky film over the game poloys to smooth out the edges?
I am a big PSP fan and have always felt it displayed beautiful graphics, but this is by far the best I've seen for PSP - if truly is PSP screenshots.
I'm sold on looks alone...
