The gripping story of ophidiophobia in the sky has propelled Snakes on a Plane star Kenan Thompson into the spotlight. Throughout most of the film, he's seen playing the PSP. But what game has him so engrossed? An interview at Yahoo reveals all:
- "I was playing NBA Street Showdown on the PSP during filming. I was playing it a whole lot and I was getting really good at it."
- The PSP was not included in Kenan's contract: "I had to give it back after we finished filming, but I had my own, so I wasn't tripping."
- Kenan thinks the PSP's one of the best handhelds around, due to its multiple capabilities: "You put it in your car and it turns into an MP3 player. It's crazy."
Read the rest of the interview to find out more on a potential sequel to the movie (Lizards on the Backs of Llamas on a Boat) and what he thinks about the DS and the Brain Age games ("I felt stupid the first time I played it").

Nice. Though having S.L. Jackson playing PSP won't boost sales.

They bring the unmatchable endorsement power of true word-of-mouth. And they engage and reach people in a totally personal, relevant way.

You know its pitiful when sony pays to have the psp in this movie. But like ninja said, not even that will boost sales. But just wait until Snakes on a Plan comes on on UMD.....oh wait....i forgot that was a complete fiasco.

Aw, PSP Fanboy has a resident Nintentroll! In between bouts of stroking puppies and blowing on 2D silhouette parachutes, Poet is taking time to show us how product placement is 'pitiful' just as long as it's Sony doing it, and how lame the PSP is because UMD movies aren't selling.
Tune in next week when he schools us PSP morons about how much fun scrambling eggs can be with the latest cooking/brain/sim, and then gets all emo at the prospect of a DS showing up in the next installment of SPY KIDS.

The Poet, keep your fanboy comments off this site. Your comment doesn't give anything to the conversation even though you agree with ninja. And pixelator, you're an idiot and your comment is worse than his. There, you're both burned. Now lets be friends again.

Put it this way: all fanboys sucks! Except PSP Fanboys. But seriously... Snakes Of A Plane is one of the greatest movies I've seen in a long time. And it's great how they work in the little kid playing the DS. Magical, yo.
