First look at upcoming Tekken fan film

Chances are, you probably won't find this upcoming fan-made film adaptation of Tekken to be as titilating as Maxim's Tekken girls photo shoot. This impressive-looking fan effort, entitled Tekken: King of Iron Fist, will feature some pretty accurate cosplaying, mixed with some action sequences. From the looks of things, this may be better than "official" Ewe Boll-produced film massacres.

Independent movie about undead Nazis to premiere on PSP

You know it's a slow news day when stories like this make it to the Fanboy. A small independent British film company plans on releasing a film about undead Nazis called "Last Evil," and they plan to distribute it online for free in iPod and PSP format. This isn't the first time an indie film has made its way to the portable before (never) reaching theaters. Although I can't say I'm too confident about a film that shares the same story as Castle Wolfenstein, I have to admit, you can't beat this movie's price of entry.

Portable Film Festival coming this Wednesday

If you're like me, you consider yourself something of a film connoisseur, attending film festivals every chance you have. But not all of us are fortunate enough to live nearby the Tribeca Film Festival. No worries. The Portable Film Festival is launching this Wednesday, and it will let you download 67 pre-selected films from all over the world to your PSP. The films were created specifically for the small screen, and they include animations, documentaries, experimental works, and more. Not only will you be able to download the films to your PSP, you'll also be able to vote for your favorite film. The winner of the competition will earn $1500 and software from Autodesk (that doesn't come cheap, trust me). So, get your Memory Sticks ready! Check out a mini-interview after the cut.
