6. Auron -- Final Fantasy X

When we first saw Auron in Final Fantasy X, we knew he'd be one of the most bad-ass FF heroes ever. Having already defeated Sin once, this old veteran returned again to add another notch on his belt. With his guiding hand and wise counsel, it was Auron who prepared FFX's hero Tidus for his long journey; it was he whom lady Yuna and the whole world of Spira looked up to and thanked for bringing the last "calm." Despite his superstar status and worldwide fame, he's got a surprising secret that no one knows about until the game's end. It's for these reasons that Auron is one of the most intriguing FF characters, and why he deserves a spot on this list. Also, don't forget that Auron is an experienced swordsman whose swordplay is unmatched by any other. He not only fights with his massive blade but also a sake jug, to which he uses its flammable liquid contents as a fuel for fire magic. Complementary to this, he pulls off all of his ultra-stylistic moves while still looking trendy in dark sunglasses.
