12. Rikku -- Final Fantasy X

Rikku is the high spirited, yet often naive, female team member of the Final Fantasy X crew. While there's usually one such stereotypical character in every Final Fantasy, the only one that really stuck in our minds was Rikku. With her light and bubbly personality, it's hard not to find her likable ... or incredibly annoying. Her unorthodox special ability also makes her an interesting character to play as, and it's the reason why she's at #12. While her default single-claw weapon doesn't seem like much, we thought we'd give her the liberty to make a few modifications. Rikku is Al Bhed, which makes her a master craftswoman of forbidden machina; she'd be able to give herself an extra boost by tweaking her weapon with an electrified charge a la Loz's weapon from Advent Children. If that mod wasn't enough, her alchemist ability would be her trump card. It would be absurd, however, to have her mix ingredients in the middle of battle so we thought she could have some sort of slot machine attack where different combinations create certain attack items. These items would range from grenades, bombs, or magical attack items.
