5. Seifer Almasy -- Final Fantasy VIII

Since Squall is in Dissidia, it would be a travesty not to include his fellow gunblade wielder and bitter rival Seifer Almasy. A complete opposite of Squall, this man was a loud-mouthed, passionate, and stubborn warrior who followed his "romantic dream" of becoming the sorceress' knight. His steady path towards darkness amplified his negative traits making him a ruthlessly cunning villain and an excellent candidate for Dissidia's chaos versus cosmos theme. Obviously, Seifer will battle with a gunblade, but his style would probably be quicker and more aggressive than Squall's. His limit break, Fire Cross, would be a fun trick to pull off; especially since it was this move that famously carved Squall's dashing facial scar in FFVIII's opening FMV. Seifer's power is undeniable; who other than he could best Odin with his own Zantetsuken?
