Just in case you guys forgot, don't forget that today's PS3 version of Bionic Commando Rearmed features an exclusive feature that neither the XBLA or PC versions have: Remote Play. This will allow you to play Bionic Commando Rearmed on your PSP. Not bad, huh? Not only does Capcom's downloadable game have an extra challenge level for PS3 fans, but it will also have support for Trophies in the future. With the DualShock's superior D-Pad, it's clear that the PS3 version of Bionic Commando is superior to the XBLA version. We approve.
The problem with doing a PSP release is that they used the same graphics engine from the new 3D Bionic Commando game. They would have had to create a new graphics engine for PSP, which would probably take a lot of time/money.
Oh come on! Don't you know the psp is just a mobile extension of the ps3!
Sony have been pissing on us for a while now with junk like remote play, location free and a playstation store filled with ps3 vids for a good while now.
It breaks my heart ,but the whole focus of the device has shifted to being a chunk of the ps3 plan instead of having a store filled with logical stuff like music downloads, original games and all the AAA stuff from the PS1 catalog.
Yaaa, I'm really wishing they made this for PSP too.. I had to choose between the 360 and PS3, and since I already had a Sony device (PSP) I opted for the 360. Now I can't play rearmed on PSP... but at least I can play it on XBLA. Yay.
Ha, I chose the 360 to even things out a bit. I could have some awesome Sony exclusives (WipeOut, Syphon Filter, God of War, Ratchet and Clank) and then some 360 exclusives (Halo, Banjo Kazooie, Gears of War etc). I don't know why people have to only like the games one console has to offer. I like them all.
"With the DualShock's superior D-Pad, it's clear that the PS3 version of Bionic Commando is superior to the XBLA version."
Why would you use the D-Pad? The analog stick is the way to go... especially in the top down levels... Maybe the extra Challenge level is superior... but the D-Pad is a moot point.
And the 360 version already has achievements. Until Trophy support is mandatory, I really don't think the article should tout that up as any kind of positive.

Too bad they didn't just do a PSP release. It would have been great to be able to play this on the road.

This should just be a PSP release. What about the rest of us that the PS3 isn't cheap enough yet to justify?
