German news site
GameFront recently posted an interesting story regarding the listing of
Suikoden VI for the PSP on a retailer's website. The story has been
roughly translated on the NeoGAF forums. The retailer was in Japan and the entry has been removed -- but the rumors live on. Is Konami hard at work on
Suikoden VI and moving the series onto the PSP? Or was it a clerical error and should have read PS3? Either way, until Konami makes a statement, we'll have to wait and see if anything comes up at E3 or the Tokyo Game Show.

I heard that it was going to the Wii.
Suikoden VI is more suitable for the PSP than PS3 unless there is a graphic and gameplay overhaul.

I don't care what system it's for as long as it's not the Wii. It's the only system I don't have nor do I want!!

On PS2 Suikoden 5 looked meh, but on PSP it'd look great. About 6... I guess they meant PS3 =P
I'd love a new Suikogame on PSP tho :( ... Any traditional japanese RPG would do, actually :(

I really hope this is true. Suikoden is a great series and I would love to see it on my PSP. Plus I hope Konami also brings the remake of Suikoden and Suikoden II to the US too.
I still have been waiting for that great game. Back in 06 Japan got both games on one UMD plus the game was a remake and I would love to play 1 & 2 again.

Sucks that the remake didn't sell well enough over seas to warrant a release in the US.
Was dying to relive suikoden 2 and hopefully play Suikoden 1 for the first time enhanced.

I don't think Konami will risk putting their flagship RPG on a system with no clear future. They might pull a 'Silent Hill Origins' move and release it on the PSP then the PS2 4-6 months later.
But I see it as PS3 title.

It seems to me that the PSP has a fairly rosy future, especially in Japan. It's just in the States, where things are a little less cheery.
