No doubt a whole bunch of you have been itchy to get your hands on something new regarding the upcoming title Blood Bowl. No? Well tough, we've got a newly released video to watch and you're going to sit there and like it. Unless you don't. Obviously there's no gameplay in this teaser trailer but it does a good job of introducing you to the world of Blood Bowl.
If you don't already know, it's a Games Workshop (tabletop gaming) game which sees Humans, Orcs and Elves compete in a brutal version of American Football. There's combat and magic and all sorts of strange stuff you don't see in normal American Football. Sounds like it good make a decent video, but we'll have to wait to see it in action to make any judgments there. Check out the teaser trailer on the Blood Bowl website.

It almost looks like they've been playing a bit too much warcraft 3.

Hmm... well, in Games Workshop's defence... Blizzard actually played too much Games Workshop... not the other way around :)

Funny story about Blizzard and Game's Workshop's relationship began with Warcraft. One side is still bitter about it.

Who the hell releases marketing material as a DiVX movie compressed in a rar archive? Don't they know that 99% of people trying to view that won't have the ability to handle either of those things?
Windows doesn't natively handle rar, so I had to go download some free thing, and then it's friggin' divx, so I had to go download something for that too (because WMP 11 downloads some codec that only plays the sound).
And why do people insist on putting movies and music in compressed archives? You don't actually get any compression, they're already compressed as much as they can be.
What's wrong with distributing an mp4 that every player on the planet can run out of the box?

Anyway, sorry for the rant. It looks like a really cool game. I wonder why it's not coming out for the PS3, I'd love to see it in HD graphics.
