It's time for the hammer-smashing fun of Carpenter's Story. This action-platformer has gone under the radar, but you can get a small taste of the game by downloading this new demo.
1. Download the demo zip file.
2. Extract the contents of the zip file.
3. Connect your PSP to your computer using a USB cable.
4. Go to the PSP/GAME folder.
5. Copy ULJS00141 folder into the GAME directory. Make sure there are no sub-directories in this folder.

Note: The demo is 3.95
If you wish to run on 3.90 fw you must hex edit the eboot and search from the start till you find 3.95, change the asii text to 3.90. Once done the game will run ^_^

Hey I'm new to the PSP, shouldn't we be able to download demos and games using the built-in browser? Or do you always have to download them on a computer and port them over?

With a website like www.pspdemocenter.org it's a direct to the PSP.
You can visit the site on your handy browser, download and play!
Some demos like SONY STORE exclusives such as the Gundam Battle Universe Demo, Ultimate Board Game Collection Demo, Secret Agent Clank Demo, the Patapon deom... etc. are all listed under the demo section and conveniently labels as SONY-STORE exclusive. The speculation to this effect is that these demos have tracks on them with DRM attached. Which means you OWN your copy of the demo, in a way.
SONY-STORE demos are totally worth the sign up too!
God of War and the Socom Tactical Strike Demo are amazing!
