We love Sony's extended life battery for PSP. Although it protrudes slightly out of the system, it offers so much juice for the system that we can't complain. However, this third party effort doesn't really compare, does it? Watch as you discover the "biggest PSP battery ever."
Hilariously large PSP battery

Is the 2200 mAh battery incredibly hard to take out? The 1200 that comes with the slim PSP just comes right out if you pull out on the little tab at the top of it. If the 2200 is just like the 1200, then I really hope that nobody else tries to get it out like this guy.

I've seen those back when link sank was still around.
The reviews said that it lasted less than the official battery but it was exploidable for Hacks but you have to be careful some chinese batteries can f*ck up your PSP.

Brilliant, avoid it because it's huge? WTF kind of review is that? They didn't even turn on the PSP! Rather than "fake" fumble around with the battery and simply slam it for being large, how about providing constructive information about actual battery life related to gaming & movies on the PSP?
Yeah, it's $10, odds are you get what you pay for, but HOW DID THE BATTERY PERFORM? Overall charge times, gameplay times, etc? We don't know, because the person in the video was too busy stammering rather than REVIEWING THE PRODUCT!
Shame on PSP Fanboy, that was an absolutely worthless video! I expected more from this site, but then again, I'm new here. I'll be moving on to other more informed PSP sites that provide real information.
You suck!

Anyway, you have a point. I was interested to see what the actual battery life was like, but oh well. You can't possibly be serious about ditching this place because of one video that they didn't even make. It's a freaking blog, deal with it.

They forgot to continue the footage where he turns it on and the battery explodes. :)

I'm still debating the Sony battery kit. Going to have to pass on this one. There's slightly bigger, and there's ridiculous, but I bet it's comfortable!

BOOOOOORIIIIIIIIING!
Wow. Please remove this video. If he edited out 90% of the wasted time, it would still be rather lame. The dirt-cheap bootleg battery is big.....wow. Big news, skippy.
And to answer Chris G: no, the official extended life battery is just as easy to take out as the stock one. The dweeb in the video either doesn't know the basics of using his own PSP, or he was fumbling around due to the (sarcasm) HILARITY (/sarcasm) it added to his video.
I'm rocking the extended life kit (plus the same battery is on clearance at my local Toys R Us for about $16). I easily get 8-10 hours out of mine. And the slight bulge isn't even noticeable after a few days of use.

Dude, of course the door is going to be big, because the battery is bigger ;)
If indeed it actually offers 3600mAh of power then so be it, some people need that much. And yeah, batteries tend to get bigger when you increase capacity.
Loser.
