Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on PSP by Sept. 16
The PSP version of Force Unleashed is not being developed by LucasArts but is under the care of Krome Studios. The portable version will also not be featuring the Digital Molecular Matter and Euphoria engines that make the PS3 version so life-like; however, it will include exclusive levels. Expect this title to ship out to Southeast Asia and Australia by Sept. 17, and Europe on Sept. 19.

Wow, that game looks sexy. Hope there's a demo of it released soon.
Oh and talking of demos, people in the UK who ordered UMD demos of GoW Chains of Olympus from Gamespot are receiving them now :) check out my article at PSP Demo Center.org.

Hopefully they don't drop the ball on the PSP version, as so many developers do.

they can keep this watered down version of the game. The thing that makes this game any good is the engines they are using and thats not even in the PSP version so whats the point of even releasing this game?

Yeah, I am with you. I dont see why they dont just make a different game. Like maybe a related game that has different missions. It seems the only Star Wars game on PSP that has been great so far was Star Wars lego.

I thought physics is a big part of the gameplay.
So, I'll probably get it for my 360.

I only have a PSP, but will definitely be getting this game! I really like Star Wars games on the PSP, they're usually done quite well. And it comes out in time for my birthday too :-)

In short, it's a DIFFERENT game from the true Force Unleashed. Why not just release the game with a different title. Whack.
However, if they even manage to make it at least as fun as Jedi Outcast from the PC with all those Jedi vs Jedi deathmatches and force powers, I'm definitely buying this.

@12
I went on the Official Star Wars Store and its only $31.99 which is almost half of the PS3 version and IGN said it looks really good from a preview A FEW MONTHS AGO which means that by Sept. it could be amazing.

I'll probably only get the PSP one, seeing as I doubt the console version will be anything more than an ad for a physics engine......with Star Wars tagged on the box for sales.
