Any idea if/when this might make a North America appearance.
I may hold off buying a Monster Hunter game if this is heading stateside.

You can play the current monster hunter freedom 2 game all you want now, and when MHF2G comes out here you can just transfer your save file. MHF2G acts like an expansion, but includes the full game along with it.

Also known as Daimyo Hermitaur, Tigrex, and Plesioth. Hermit dies instantly with Devil Slicer Plessy isn't too hard...but all in one quest?

Umm.... There were contents available from day one, with weekly updates. Every Friday, new contents. It`s set to Friday, instead of Thursday, which is why it was 4/4 and not 4/3 (which would have been exactly a week after launch)
The next update is set for the 11th. It doesn`t really have anything to do with the sales - although I`m sure they knew it would sell a lot.
