Crisis Core gets 'additional gameplay challenges'
The curious wording makes it seem likely (although unconfirmed) that the US release of the game will feature the same content. Of course, we don't particularly care about having a more difficult game -- we just really want that sweet new packaging!

Awesome. I was hoping for something like this (European Extreme et al), replayability is a big thing for me so long as the game itself is good.

Looks like yet another thing I will be drooling over and missing out simply because I live in North America. Does Square Enix /SCEA / everyone else not know we like these things?

FF has been too easy for too long. I would welcome a hard mode. If there is any game worth that extra effort it is FF.

The hard mode is waaaaay more than just your usual 'hard' mode. It's more like extra-hard :)
I definitely suggest first playing the game in normal, since I nearly bite my PSP when I first tried to play it in hard.
