The first Tales of Rebirth trailer appears

It's time to finally see some Tales of Rebirth in action. Well, via this small video screen that shows an even smaller PSP screen (only for a little while, though!). The remake seems to be moving along towards its March release in Japan fairly well. We're very excited Namco Bandai decided to keep the game 2D at heart. As much as we loved Symphonia and Abyss (what do you mean, Legendia? Don't joke with us), we can't ignore the originals in 2D that just felt more ... special. Enjoy!

ah man I thought it was KH Birth by sleep for a sec lol. Then I watched the trailer and was like oh God no. Not another Tales of game ... I'd rather have Brave Story 2 or if a tales game ToD 3 ... at least it's back to the old art style ...

Am I the only that actually wants this game to come out in English?
Sappo... hmm... never heard of them, but if this video is representative of the whole, then they worst that gamevideos.com(which is terrible).

Man, you guys need to stop posting stuff like this. All you're doing is making us english speaking tales fans more depressed knowing that we're never going to be seeing an english tales of destiny 2 or tales of rebirth or an official phantasia.

Did you forget about Phantasia for GBA, or did that just not count?

Tales of Destiny 2(the real one , not Eternia) was released in Europe.
I thought they brought over a GBA port of ToP to NA.
I think there is an MMO, 3-4 games like Tales of the World where they throw in people from different games in the series into one game, a DS game, and Rebirth haven't been translated into English. Then again i might be wrong.

No, the wannabe gameboy version doesn't count. They could give us the
new full voice version of phantasia for the psp.
And no, the actual Japanese titled Tales of destiny 2 has never been
translated. This is the one that was a direct sequel to Tales of
Destiny with Stahn's son Kyle as the main character. This has never
been released outside of japan.
Tales of Eternia was released in Europe for the psp. This game is
identical to the US named Tales of destiny 2. The actual name Tales
of Eternia could not be used in the US, so it was named tales of
destiny 2. It is not the same game as the actual Japanese tales of
destiny 2. Eternia/U.S. ToD2 have Reid for a main character.
Aside from those, it's doubtful we'l see the DS tales of innocence
and tales of tempest or the newly announced Tales of vesperia either.
Altough vesperia has a better chance of coming over, likely for the
ps3.
Paul- Yes, the tales series is one of the very best RPG series. It stands up with series' like Final Fantasy, Suikoden, Shin Megami Tensei, Dragon Quest or Star Ocean. You can pick up some of the translated ones like tales of symphonia for gamecube or tales of legendia or tales of the abyss for ps2.

Well at least there's 3 seconds of gameplay shown in the trailer :P
Anyway. to #1: Legendia sucked.
Hope this one gets to america... since TOD2 has been available for some time in japan and no news of a western release.

Am I the only one who actually prefer 2D Tales of!?
I mean, yes, 3D ones are really good but 2D Tales of battle are just awesome (esp. Destiny 2 battle system is god)
