Kouji Okada, creator of the Shin Megami Tensei series, is bringing yet another RPG to the PSP. Just like his previous effort, Monster Kingdom: Jewel Summoner, this RPG focuses on capturing monsters and using them in battles. Like any good portable monster collecting RPG, there's an ad-hoc mode, which will not only let you battle, but trade with other players. The game will also link up to the PS3 Folklore (also known as Folks Soul), but in what way, we're unsure. Monster Kingdom was a solid game on PSP, and Folklore was even better. Let's hope that Okada can really hammer this one on the head too.

Awesome. I loved folklore but have yet to play monster kingdom. Any PS3-PSP news gets me excited though.

Sweetness, this is good, I've restarted Monster Kingdom Jewel Summoner, I gotta finish it. Hopefully by the time I get my PS3 in May, this will have more info, it looks bangin for the PSP regardless.

There are hidden items in Folklore, five 'parts of the epigraph' that are magic link items that work by magic. They're in alternating characters' alternating chapters, starting with Keats' chapter one.
No idea what they're actually gonna do though.
