if they do another one, I would like to see them use the same controls as Syphon Filter: Dark Shadows. That game really gets 3rd person on the PSP absolutely right.

I've been saying that there will be another game ever since MGS: PO first came out.
It was a great seller, so Konami will want to make sequels to it. Why do you think they made MGS:PO+?

Please collaborate with the team behind Syphon Filter so that the controls are easier and the camera works better. Syphon Filter DM pulled it off really well in that I just needed to go through the tutorials, but it took me a really long time before I could get used to Portable Ops.

I wouldn't have minded if Portable Ops would have had the top down view. I always enjoyed and never saw the problem. I'm sad to see it go for MGS4. I would buy a ported version of Silicon Knights remake of MGS1 for the Gamecube.

However, if they do have a new game for the PSP, I still hope that it's a new story.

I just wish that they could do both.

i really hope this is true.
they should remake the first metal gear. tell the story of how big boss was defeated by solid snake. let us know what ocelot was up to after portable ops and before shadow mosses. if hideo and team kojima are behind it you can bet your last dollar that it's going to be fire. metal gear. silent hill. FF. all iam missing is good ol resident evil. i have built quite an impressive library of psp games. imports. and movies.

It would be so cool that if there's another MPO title coming to the PSP.

Maybe they could use either Syphon filter controls or Manhunt 2 style control both work great for this type stealth, action, shooter.

Id love to see a Metal Gear game based after Shadow Moses but before the tanker, where Snake and Otacon go around the world blowing up metal gears

Otacon is the main guy you call, Mei Ling saves your games and Meryl and the Colonel drop in from time to time, and some new characters as well

Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops 2 has been confirmed for some time. It's not even a rumor.
