Europe isn't the only territory getting a red PSP. The Japanese market will also be receiving a fully red PSP-2000 system, called "Deep Red." Unlike the Spider-man bundle, the back of the system will not be black. There are two variants: a Value Pack, which includes a 32MB Memory Stick and accessories for 22,800円. Another bundle will include the 1seg digital TV tuner (for use in Japan only) and a 1GB Memory Stick for 29,800円. Considering the popularity of 1seg in Japan, we have a feeling this bundle will be more than successful.
Pre-orders have already begun on Play-Asia. The system will be available in Japan on December 13th.

Nice, I like it better than the Spider-Man one with the black buttons. All red is just sleeker.
They should release it in North America, and partner with that (Red) campaign where they give a portion of the profits to fight AIDS. That would give Sony some nice PR, and it fits in with similar red iPod & RAZR campaigns.
