The upcoming PSP remake of Yggdra Union is getting a brand new opening cinematic. And like most anime introductions, it's stunning. Yukio Takatsu, director of animation for Persona 3, will also be helming work for this intro.
Go to Gpara for more screens from the game. If this much effort is being put into the cinematics, we're hoping the rest of the game will look just as vibrant.

woah, RPG overloading... I guess this is to be expected, PS2 really didn't get much RPG games until 2nd year into its life cycle. now PSP is going through the same.
Loving it. looks more like Joeanne D'Arc to me, which to me personally, the best RPG game on PSP (next to Crisis Core)

Ditto. You are exactly right, and I think that translates to the PS2 aswell; Rouge Galaxy falls just shy of FFXII quality. I love having tons of RPG's though. It's the Reason I buy Sony consoles above others; we get more of "my genre" than anything else. Sure, there are great RPG's on other consoles, and I'm sure Dragon Quest IX will be worth getting a DS. But, for now, the mere mention of Birth by Sleep, Wild Arms XF, Jeanne d'Arc, Crisis Core and Dissadia (I think that's the spelling) get's me into a sweat.

Nice intro, but Riviera had some nice touches, yet the GBA version was better ... same for the FF I&II ripoff ports ... the GBA was better.
I liked Yggdra Union on the GBA, and am wondering if it will really bring anything to the PSP ...
Sorry to sound cynical ... now back to trying to play 3 PSP games (Star Wars Renegade Squadron, Final Fantasy Tactics and Syphon Filter Logan's Shadow) on 2 PSP's ...
