That took long enough.
The God of War: Chains of Olympus Special Edition: Battle of Attica demo disc (also lovingly abbreviated as GOW: COO –SE:BoADD) is going to make its September release date, with only a few days to spare. This demo is quite possibly the most anticipated demo in recent memory, with forums constantly abuzz about its ever-shifting release date. Considering the limited number of copies being printed, it might actually end up being a collector's item (let's see how much it goes for on eBay).
We're eagerly awaiting our demo discs, just like you, and we can't wait to share our impressions of Kratos' upcoming PSP adventure with you.
[Thanks, kspraydad!]

Demos on physical discs are just old hat... how about saving resources and providing the demo through a download through the PSP directly or through a website then people could just copy it over to their PSP through a USB connection... wasting a whole UMD for a DEMO seems just that... a waste...

@Heishiro...
I disagree...opening that package and slipping that disc in would be such a sweet feeling...

But if EVERYONE was getting the Demo via DLC, what would that be? This demo, being limited and all, has made MASSIVE hype for less money than printing a huge ad campaign just to get sued by Hillary Clinton or Jack Thompson or someone else for being racist, violent, marketed to infants, subconciously making children obese killing machines, et cetera

I am glad the are doing old disc demos with this, but still couldn't they reach more people with a download service? More people would get it, more people would show it off to there friends with and without PSP's.
Can't really see a downside to this except if they pass this chance up to increase sales. Let's not kid ourselves, this game WILLSELL PSP's, I would imagine there are plenty of GOW fan's that do not yet own a PSP and have looking for just the right reason to get one!

Someone with the demo might as well rip it and put it on bittorrent...
Back in the PSone days, where the PSone was not called PSone, yet, there was a Playstation Magazine that came out every month and had a CD with many demos on it. Haven't seen that for the PS2 or the PSP, though. I'd definitely buy a magazine with a demo-UMD on it! Yeah

Does SONY ever Send Demos or anything to Canadian PSU memebers??
I've been a PSU memeber since 2005 I had my PSone registered, MY PS2 soon as I got it, my PS3, and I register all the Games I get. And I sign-up for every demo and contest. I've yet to get a damn thing in the mail from them.
Hope the downloadable Demo comes soon

I've signed up for a few PSP demo discs and I have never received any. Killzone: Liberation, Jeanne d'Arc, etc. I specifically signed up to get them, they confirmed they'd send them, and they've never come. Not only am I a PSU member, but I'm a GAP member, and I'm from America. I feel a little left out, and I'm very certain I won't be getting this in the mail either.
