Crisis Core secret ending begs you to play FFVII
The secret ending of Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core shows a familiar scene for fans of Square's long revered RPG series. Could the "to be continued" that ominously appears at the game's end suggest a remake, like many have theorized? We'd hope so, but we remain skeptical. Most likely, the Final Fantasy team is pulling a George Lucas, reminding people of where this new effort lies in the overarching timeline. Of course, once Square realizes how much money they'll be printing with a re-release of the original Final Fantasy VII, we hope they come to their senses soon enough. Video embedded after the cut.

In truth the Story is continued in FFVII, so that Message at the end may not be suggesting anything other then that,....
However,. I Pray that is why they put it in,. I'd sell my soul for a PS3 remake of FFVII

Please don't ruin the ending for me.
I'm one of the rare people who's currently playing Crisis Core right now who are yet to play FFVII.
My first FF game started at FFVIII. I guess after I finish CC, I will pick up FFVII for my PS3. although I'm not sure I can even stand the PS1 graphics.

I would easily preorder FFVII for the PS3 right now even if it was to be released years from now. The FFVII deserve a remake.

from the various videos posted here before the release of the game, I can personally say it looks A HUNDRED times better in game. Maybe it's the way videos look on PSP's widescreen. but wow, I don't think I've ever watched a 3 minutes cut-scenes and still craved more at the end of it.
a pretty much MUST-Buy to any PSP owner, I personally think it's a PSP seller. Not only the graphics, the speed which it loads, the battle sequence loads MUCH faster than Brave Story (which has one of the fastest loads I've seen).

I only rented it for 7 days and I was half way through it before I bought Jeanne (so I wasn't able to finish it), but it was RPG on PSP at its best. I personally would say it's the best pure RPG on PSP. and because of that, you get the usual problems with RPG, random battles.. so on
If you're a RPG fan, definitely wait until it goes onsale and pick it up.

@10 the Usual RPG problems? LMAO i'm a HardCore RPG and Final Fantasy Fan so that won't bother me,. i was thinking of picking Brave Story or Dragoneer Aria up,. though Dragoneers Aria got harsh reveiws Brave Story got decent ones,. then again I might not get anything else on PSP till God of war and Crisis Core both come out in March too many games for PS3 coming out i want.

That "secret" ending is Squeenix's PS3 tech demo from E3 2005. My head tells me that this is just to let Crisis Core players know the story continues in FFVII on the PSOne. My heart is hoping this is the confirmation I've been hoping for that a PS3 or PSP remake of FFVII is on the way.

then it's fine, I just got sick of running around in the dungeon and getting worn out because you get random battle with TOUCH TOUCH enemies. And what makes it worse is, I don't think you get a map. so you really don't even know where you're supposed to go half of the time. and it has some serious long dungeon levels.
but on the positive, i like the battle system, the duo attack mode's pretty cool. the graphics' quite decent.

@15 very true if i'm not mistaken Cloud took about 10 steps after getting off the train b4 the Tech Demo ended but still this is the same vid just cut a bit off,.
But still you know Sqaure either plans to make a remake, wants to get peoples reactions to see if they get really hype it b4 evne making one,. or the bastards like to tease,. Or it's the Ultimate BEST KEPT SECRET OF 2007 and will be UNVEILED at TGS this WEEKEND!!!,.

I'm already taking Japanese classes, but I think playing that game in Japanese now will just have me understand half of it... at most. So I have to wait for an English or German release, too. :-(
Pick up the pace, Squeenix!
And kingofwale, you can play FFVII _on your PSP_! I've already completely played through it on my PSP, and the graphics are good, except for the 3D-parts. The backgrounds and cutscenes are totally reasonable and enjoyable.
