Spoiler alert? The upcoming
God of War: Chains of Olympus demo disc will feature an absolutely gory battle with the Persian King (video embedded, after the break). In this Gamespot preview, we see that the graphics, the voice acting, and the violence have all been retained from the PS2 original. It's exciting to see a small glimpse of the upcoming game (dated for a March release), but those that don't want to ruin the experience may want to look away.
This is an M-rated game, and you must be 17 years or older to watch the video.

I just hope I have my psp back by the time the demo hits. I'm on the list.I'm gonna be pissed if i don't have my psp back when this hits. Never send your psp to someone to fix for you thru the mail. Been over a week and I still haven't received it back after it was mailed off.

Sorry, this is off-topic, but does anyone know if backplates for the old PSP batteries are available for the PSP Slim? And has anyone tried out the battery life with an old stamina battery in the system?

as gorgeous as this one is, it looks like a PS2 games (nothing wrong with that at all), but CC looks like it's BETTER than a PS2 game (more like a PS2.5 game)
my vote goes to CC, maybe it's just because I'm more of a RPG fan.
and for those who don't normally pick up games. PLEASE go out and buy it. it will show other developers that if they a good game, it will sell on PSP

This game is so fantastic looking. As many awesome looking games as there are for the PSP this game looks like it pushes the envelope even further. Ready at Dawn ROCKS!!! KUDOS !!! I hope that other developers can take note and commit to the same quality.

god of war is a big title and its sort of a risk to be able to keep it as fresh as 1 and 2 and to run smooth on the psp is just simply amazing. cant wait to download demo

I am a PSP owner (of course).. I also own a Iriver PMP as well as an 80GB 5.5G Ipod. I have to say.. 0 complains from me about PSP screen, it's just plain gorgeous.
any idea where I can download that picture to do my personal comparison?
Also, I forsee 2 years from now, homebrew industry will be able to fix up PS2 games (take out the analog stick function) and be able to port them unto PSP..
now, it's up to Sony to beat the homebrewers to this and take up this multi-million dollar business that would otherwise lost to piracy completely.
I mean, if someone has the software that can play my FFX, FFXII, RE4, DMC3 on my PSP, I'm willing to pay BIG bucks for it.
