Yes. Photos and music can now be played back simultaneously."
Sa-wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeett!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually, all these features sound great. They are small improvements, but are things people have been asking for for a long time.
Not sure if I will update my current PSP (is at 3.00) or buy the PSP Slim & update that.

Wow, looks like Sony's taking some ideas from the homebrew community they so openly despise.

It somehow feels like Sony is finally moving on, instead of staying still and ignoring people.
I'm eager to hear details about the themes and music playback.
By the way, there's a custom firmware plugin that lets you play music even while playing games!

Themes are obviously "inspired" by homebrew.
Better late than never, methinks.

Yep...Sony got the idea for 'themes' from the homebrew community...it isn't like themes have existed on home computers for over 15 years...yep, definitely didn't get there idea there.

Yeah, like Anders I'm curious how this "Theme" thing is working? I'm guessing later we'll be able to download Sony permitted themes, just not yet though. I've always wanted the ability to have my movies play sequentially without having to go back to the XMB so i really like that update.
I noticed that now when you highlight an item from the XMB a little icon pops up on the bottom right showing that triangle opens the options menu which is really nice for new owners.
Cool update Sony, definitely appreciated.

Does this mean that I could make up and down on the D-pad function as L2 and R2, cus that would make playing Lair pretty sweet if it does. You might be able to actually funish the game from start to finish. Remote play is awesome.
