Mike Rosser has once again updated the Star Wars Battlefront blog with new footage of his "new favorite hero character." Robot bounty hunter (the best kind of bounty hunter) IG-88 is loaded with some awesome weaponry, which is on display in this latest vid. "In BF:RS, we've kitted him out with dual blaster rifles, a flamethrower and cluster grenades. And he's pretty deadly, as he should be! I'm also pleased that we managed to work IG-88 into the storyline, so expect some face-offs!"

This guy was one of the best Boss Fights in Shadows of the Empire. Glad to see him make an appearance.

This framrate looks pretty good.
Mike any chance we could get Snaggletooth in there? maybe as a hidden character? He NEVER gets into games, in fact he was barley in the film! the figure was awesome. Good work.

I don't understand the issues with framerate - this looks perfectly fine, certainly over 20fps, at least. Unless framerate gets to where it affects gameplay, who cares? I'm now actually looking forward to this game when it arrives with my Vader White PSP-2000!

SotE!!! Damn, I have such fond memories of that game, like mastering the jetpack and battling it out with Boba Fett, chasing him around the platforms.

Yeah, framerate looks OK, but that's because in the video there's always (conveniently) just one or two enemies on-screen... tops. C'mon, didn't you notice that?

Re: pixelator - "Unless framerate gets to where it affects gameplay, who cares?"
If you watched some of the early gameplay videos and read some of the accounts, that is *exactly* what seemed to be happening, thus the lingering concern.
I think this is shaping up nicely!
